We're a new church being planted in Key West, Florida — sent out by Heartland Community Church in Medina, Ohio. Our mission is simple: to be a place where people find and follow Jesus.Key West is only about four square miles, yet it's home to roughly 25,000 people — one of the most densely packed communities in the country. That density means something. It means neighbors who actually run into each other. It means a community small enough to know by name and large enough to need a church that's truly present in it. In a place this tightly woven together, the way we love our neighbors isn't abstract — it's the person at the next table, the co-worker down the street, the family two doors down.
Right now, we're in the very beginning stages — praying, planning, and laying the groundwork for what this church will become. There's no building yet. No first service yet. Just a small group of people convinced that Key West needs a place where people can find and follow Jesus, and willing to do the work to build it.This page is where you can follow along as that happens — the planning, the milestones, the setbacks, the answered prayers. We want you to see it from the ground up, not just show up once it's polished. If that sounds like something you want to be part of from day one, we'd love to have you along for it.
